Omer Engineering & Construction was founded in 1986.Originally an engineering firm, it was established in 1978 by engineers Ze'ev Salant and Israel Rosenblatt (both honors graduates of the Technion,Haifa). Today they are the controlling shareholders of the company.

Omer is registered with the registrar of contractors in the construction industry under unlimited classification, as a housing company and recognized contractor for government projects.

The company's growth in recent years stems from its high-quality construction and an expert and efficient staff, faithful to strict work schedules.
